Jai-wei Fishman, M.S. is a patent agent and a professional patent researcher specializing in the chemical, biological, pharmaceutical and biomedical arts since 2007.

Ms. Fishman graduated from the University of Vermont, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. She also received a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from George Mason University. Ms. Fishman was a research associate at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases located within the National Institutes of Health (“NIH”). Ms. Fishman studied both the effects of experimental drugs on muscarinic receptor-lacking mice, and how the protein perilipin affects the breakdown of lipids. She has numerous publications in scientific journals such as Neuron and Molecular Pharmacology. Ms. Fishman also served as a bioinformatics consultant for Lockheed-Martin.

Dr. Isolde Erlenbach, Ph.D. is a licensed pharmacist. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy (Zeugnis über die pharmazeutische Prüfung) from the Pharmacy School at the University of Bonn, in Germany. Dr. Erlenbach also received a Ph.D. in Pharmacy/Pharmacology from the University of Frankfurt, Germany. Dr. Erlenbach was a research fellow at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, located within the NIH. She is also a co-inventor of the European Patent Number 1,684,789 and U.S. Patent Number 7,459,277 titled “Mammalian T1R3 Sweet Taste Receptors.”

Mr. Frenkel is a patent attorney and a professional patent researcher specializing in the chemical, biological, pharmaceutical and biomedical arts.

Mr. Frenkel graduated from Michigan State University, Lansing, Michigan, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. He received his J.D. degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Mr. Frenkel was a patent examiner in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office from 1979 to 1981. He was then an associate in Depaoli & O’Brien from 1981-1993, became partner in 1993 through 1999. He joined Liniak, Berenato, Longacre & White in 2000. Mr. Frenkel founded his own practice, Frenkel & Associates in 2002, which is active till present. Mr. Frenkel has over 20 years of patent prosecution and research experience.
